Camera Walks Are How I Remember a Place

Hamza on a China city camera walk with Scridles sleeve badge generated into his windbreaker.

A camera walk changes the way I move. I slow down, look for edges, watch light, notice signs, and remember scenes that would disappear if I only passed through them.

The point is not to take perfect photos. The point is to make a place easier to remember, and to catch the details that later become a note, a sketch, a story, or a feeling.

Scridles needs this category because some thoughts do not arrive at the desk. They arrive while walking.
